
ABOUT THE JOB
The Senior Financial Analyst will both lead and support multiple critical financial initiatives for GEP, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and market profitability analysis, capital planning, M&A, and other various initiatives.
The role will be diverse, challenging and offer ample opportunities for autonomy and growth. The Senior Financial Analyst will directly report to the CFO and other senior members of the team.
The Senior Financial Analyst will ensure that company makes sound financial decisions. Your work, whether it be modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges. Provides analytical and operational support to the overall business operation in Finance function. Your work is integral to the success of our project development work and growth sustainability through ensuring financial health of the company. With knowledge in various financial products, the Corporate Finance team devise a strategy and execute them to maximize return on investment which allow the company to constantly expand.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
M&A, Due Diligence and Financial Analysis
1. Preparing monthly presentation to management meeting relating to financial performance and other issues. Create additional analysis and reports as requested by Management.
2. Preparing, solving, mitigating and executing day to day issues or ad hoc tasks as required by the management and shareholders on a timely basis in all aspects.
3. Perform Investor Relation tasks as requested by handling a wide range of analytical and operational questions
4. Be able to understand, run and explain at least a simple model, cash-flow projection and other valuation methods.
5. Reviewing and negotiating other contracts apart from the EPC or project related agreement.
6. Be able to discuss audit issues such as accounting standards or a concept of TFRIC12.
7. M&A plus restructuring both debt and equity parts.
8. Be able to do overall project management.
9. Cooperating with IPO advisors e.g., Legal advisor and Financial advisor to support and organize due diligence process.
10. Seeking and arranging for equity and debt financing such as bond, bill of exchange, investment funds to meet the Company’s appetite.
11. Collaborate with lenders and underwriters for issuing debenture, overdraft, bridge financing green bond or even project financing.
12. Develop feasibility study of transactions, taking into consideration the industry trends, competitors’ activities, overall market performance, potential partner.
13. Participate in building a strong team; building skills for junior members in completing their tasks, as well as supporting each other to achieve company’s, team’s, as well as individuals’ goals in both personal and professional aspects
