Job Summary:

The Presales and Solutions Architect Manager leads the technical engagement with potential clients, ensuring that proposed solutions align with customer needs and business goals. This role bridges the gap between sales and technical teams, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and leadership throughout the presales process.

Responsibility:

Customer focus:

Customer Needs Assessment: Work with potential customers to understand their business requirements and challenges. Use this information to tailor product demonstrations and solutions to their needs.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients throughout the presales process.
Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and market demands to provide relevant insights during customer interactions.

Solution focus:

Product Demonstrations and Presentations: Create and deliver tailored product demonstrations that highlight how the product addresses specific customer needs.
Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with the sales team to align the sales strategy with technical solutions. Support the team by providing detailed product knowledge and strategy.
Proposal Creation: Prepare detailed and customized proposals for potential clients, outlining how the company’s solutions address their specific challenges.
Technical Consultation: Provide technical consultation to clients during the sales process to help clarify any doubts and explain the product’s advantages.
Team Leadership and Training: Lead and mentor the presales team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to support sales efforts effectively.

Skills & Competencies:

Technical & Solutions Expertise

Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions, cloud platforms, software architecture, and integration.
Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions and articulate value propositions.
Experience with product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proposal development.

Customer & Business Focus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and understand their business challenges.
Ability to build long-term relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.

Leadership & Collaboration

Proven experience in leading presales or solution architect teams.
Ability to mentor and train team members to improve performance and knowledge.
Strong collaboration skills with sales, marketing, and product teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or similar (depending on the tech stack).
Sales or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Sales Professional) are a plus.
7+ years in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles.
2+ years in a managerial or team lead capacity.
Experience working in B2B environments, especially in industries like IT, SaaS, or enterprise solutions
