Job Description
- Lead all maintenance and engineering operations
- Ensure machinery, utilities, and equipment run efficiently and reliably
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Management
• Plan and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) to ensure high machine uptime.
• Supervise, inspect, and follow up on maintenance tasks for machines.
• Monitor maintenance performance to ensure continuous equipment uptime
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules to prevent production downtime.
• Promote and support the development of AM practices across all production sections.
• Train production teams on basic maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, cleaning, lubrication, Tightening and minor adjustments to prevent equipment failures.
2. Machinery & Utility System Control
• Oversee factory utility systems
• Ensure proper functioning and calibration of measuring and control instruments (Instrumentation).
3. Team Management
• Lead the maintenance team by planning manpower, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Train and develop technicians in machinery operation, safety, and new maintenance techniques.
4. Spare Parts & Maintenance Cost Control
• Manage and control spare parts inventory to ensure availability and cost efficiency.
• Analyze maintenance expenses and propose cost-saving improvements.
• Evaluate suppliers for spare parts and maintenance services (Vendor Evaluation).
5. Machine Performance Improvement
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for machine failures and breakdowns.
• Propose and implement machine performance improvement initiatives (e.g., machine upgrades, energy-saving solutions).
• Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and OEE in cooperation with the Production Department.
6. Safety & Factory Standards
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards (Safety, 5S, ISO, depending on the facility).
• Inspect and ensure machinery and maintenance areas are safe and compliant.
7. Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare maintenance reports, breakdown analyze reports, and PM reports.
• Maintain machine documentation according to ISO/TPM requirements.
• Propose capital investment for new machinery or equipment.
