Operate, maintain, and supervise electrical systems in the data center including:
Main and backup power distribution systems
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and battery systems
Diesel generators and fuel systems
Switchgear, MDB, DB, and circuit protection
Emergency lighting and grounding systems
Power quality monitoring and load balancing
Plan and perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and testing procedures according to industry standards and data center requirements (e.g., Uptime Institute, ISO, TIS)
Monitor power systems via BMS, EMS, or SCADA platforms and respond to alarms and electrical faults
Analyze electrical parameters and trends (voltage, current, harmonics, etc.) and recommend improvements to ensure reliability and efficiency
Prepare reports on system performance, maintenance records, and energy usage analysis (e.g., PUE reports)
Coordinate with mechanical engineers, IT infrastructure teams, and external contractors during maintenance or system upgrades
Review and develop technical documentation such as SOPs, MOPs, and emergency response procedures (EOPs)
