We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a German automotive company.
Purpose of the position:
Responsible for all project management related aspects of the products of for several dedicated customers. Manage the projects to assure flawless and timely product development and industrialization for several dedicated customers (the project target such as budget, timing, quality and customer requirements)
Authority and Responsibility:
• Management of projects according to customer requirements and internal standards (e.g. Process description)
• Create and track project plan / schedule / budget.
• Define project team and their responsibilities, lead the Project team.
• Responsible for timely preparation of necessary project management documentation (e.g. PPAP, Quality Gate Reviews, etc.) according to customer requirements and internal standards.
• Establish, update and manage a project data files | Gather and share the project key information
• Actively communicate with engineering, production, logistics, sales, quality and purchasing departments, Organize kick off and regularly (weekly) project meeting and record meeting minutes.
• Follow up open issue list and find the related persons to solve problems, based on analytical thinking to evaluate the risk and guide the decision maker with solution proposal.
• Facilitate Communication with other locations to exchange project related information if necessary (e.g. for global projects) and project reporting
• Follow up ECR and VAVE activities with sales and design dept.
• Maintain consistently related function quality management system in alignment with the company’s objectives and IATF16949 ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Follow up laws, regulations including customs laws and ESH rules, attend related activity and training as per requirement
• Demonstrate the DBTB values as the influential role model to the team to achieve department and organizational objectives.
