- Ensure all incoming parts and materials meet product specifications and applicable standards.
- Oversee the incoming inspection team and ensure proper adherence to inspection procedures (WI).
- Monitor supplier performance using statistical tools and generate weekly/monthly quality reports.
- Analyze supplier non-conformance reports and lead root cause investigations.
- Work directly with suppliers to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA/SCAR).
- Issue NCRs or 8Ds and follow up on resolution in coordination with Purchasing.
- Track and report supplier metrics (quality & delivery).
- Identify trends and drive improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Maintain clear communication and regular feedback with all suppliers.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluate compliance with SAFRAN and regulatory standards.
- Lead audit follow-ups, ensuring timely and effective closure of findings.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Sourcing to assess and approve potential suppliers.
- Verify supplier capabilities and quality management systems.
- Ensure technical requirements are accurately communicated in contracts and documentation.
- Support product qualification activities, including First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities as assigned.
- Serve on the Material Review Board (MRB) for supplier-related non-conformance reviews.
- Supervise and mentor SQA Engineers, promoting best practices and performance excellence.
- Ensure all supplier quality activities comply with SAFRAN policies and standards.
- Thai nationality only
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (ME), Industrial Engineering (IE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or any related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the aerospace, automotive, or mechanical manufacturing industries.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage supplier relationships.
- Experience with AS/ISO quality standards and supplier quality audits is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality reports.
- Skilled in writing technical documents, audit reports, and handling non-conformance investigations.
- In-depth knowledge of APQP, PPAP, 8D problem-solving, and First Article Inspection (FAI) processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant business/technical applications.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and systematic in approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on root cause and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written) are mandatory.
- Additional language proficiency is a plus.
