Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and compliance with the accounting standard and tax regulations. This role supports the retail business by managing accounts receivable and payable, expense management, VAT compliance, bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
- Manage and reconcile accounts receivable and payable.
- Perform daily sales transaction audits for retail stores and e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting related to consignment sales, direct shipments and returns.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain inventory accounting integrity, including cost of goods sold and consignment tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and accounting of payroll, accruals and amortized expenses.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Uphold compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
