Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement the company's R&D strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and business goals.
• Oversee the entire R&D lifecycle from concept generation, feasibility studies, product development, testing, validation, to commercialization.
• Establish project goals, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for R&D projects. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of new products and processes from R&D to manufacturing and commercial launch. Set up standard procedure and training material of new product to support operation simplification.
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure R&D efforts are integrated and aligned with overall business functions.
• Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant food’s industry standards, regulations, quality systems and ethical guidelines.
• Optimize R&D processes and resource utilization to maximize output and efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners, academic institutions, research organizations, suppliers, and industry experts.
