1. Plan and perform research laboratory procedure under the supervision of the principal investigator. Perform laboratory work including growing and maintaining cells, flow cytometry, flow cytometry-based neutralization assay, ELISA.
2. Maintain comprehensible and detailed records of experiments performed. Prepare data and performs preliminary data analysis.
3. Maintain, order, and keep record of laboratory supplies and equipment needed for research activities. Maintain and handle chemical and biology reagents, specimen storage, document filing (SOPs, data results and equipment instructions), and ensuring chemical and biological waste treatment.
4. Process blood specimens from different projects as prescribed by protocol and Standard Operating Procedures.
5. Manage specimen intake and inventory. Identify and distribute specimens for testing as specified by study protocols. Label and store specimens into refrigerator, freezer or deep freezer depending on assay requirements. In the event of freezer failure, timely relocate materials and specimens to temporary storage.
6. Prepare chemical reagents to support experiments taking place in other sites of Depart of Virology including KAVRU and PAVRU.
12. Performs preliminary data analysis from the result of experiments.
13. Prepares the documents and samples for the oversea shipment as ordered.
14. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Department Chief or his/her designee.
