We are looking for a Senior QA Tester to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality software. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software systems through a combination of manual and automated testing, with a focus on API testing, automation frameworks, and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across various platforms including web and mobile (iOS and Android).
- Conduct API testing and validate backend functionality through tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Cypress.io, Selenium, Robot Framework, or other relevant tools.
- Perform mobile automation testing where applicable to ensure app performance and reliability.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and test plans.
- Maintain and manage test environments to ensure reliability and repeatability of test execution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals and timelines.
- Document and report testing outcomes using standard tools like Microsoft Excel, test management platforms, or other documentation tools.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance and software development practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing (manual and automation).
- Strong experience in API testing and test automation.
- Knowledge of mobile automation testing is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of test planning and test strategy design.
- Familiarity with the banking or financial industry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
