Instrument, Electrical and Analyzer Planner

Dow Thailand is looking for IEA Planner (Instrument Electrical & Analyzer) Technician, located at Asia Industrial estate, Rayong. This position is the important role as it is at the upstream of planning and scheduling process. The person interfaces with gatekeeper in daily basis to negotiate and screen the wok orders. This role has an in-depth experience and skill in do-maintenance execution and can plan for maintenance jobs which include EH&S requirement, required labors, spare parts and materials, job steps, and external services needed. Field planner also prepares job packages or written work instruction from scope or work as stated in work orders so that maintenance jobs can be performed in the safe and efficient manner.

The key responsibilities for this role

• Perform Create Value Added Work Order (CVAWO) review process together with gatekeeper.
• Reject the defect work order and inform gatekeeper once the information needed for job planning is missing Perform the field visit if needed
• Use the existing job planning to develop or revise the job package
• Prepare job package and input the planning information in MMS by stating the required labor, spare parts and materials, and external services needed
• Identify all safety requirement needed to perform the job safely and conform to Dow’s EH&S standard
• Identify the scope of work and major job steps in the job plan
• Identify quantity and hours of labor type needed for the job
• Identify spare parts, materials, and special tools needed
• Keep necessary document on hand for the future job planning
• Review job quantity, spare part and material specification needed for job and forward to Purchasing to find outside contractor if needed
• Use “Most Effective Technology” (MET) whenever applicable to get the optimal result
• Be able to perform Plan-Do-Check-Act process to improve service performance

• Higher vocational or Bachelor degree in technical field in Electrical, Instrument and related field.
• Min. 5 years of experience. Experienced in petrochemical, refinery business is an advantage
• Strong IEA technical knowledge, able to work independently
• Good communication and coordination skill
• Good command of read and write English
• Good computer skills (MS Office applications)
