Responsibilities

Oversee and optimize the overall quality inspection process, from incoming materials to finished goods.
Develop and implement new quality control procedures and standards based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, generate regular reports, and present findings to management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process, including identification, segregation, disposition, and follow-up.
Collaborate with suppliers on quality-related issues, conduct supplier audits, and monitor supplier performance to ensure component quality.
Conduct internal quality system audits and participate in external audits (e.g., ISO) to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide training and mentorship to junior QC personnel and production teams on quality standards and inspection techniques.
Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for quality improvement projects using methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science).

3-5 years of experience in Quality Control.
Prior experience as a supervisor or team leader is a plus.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Understanding of ISO standards.
Excellent English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
Ability to communicate in Japanese will be given special consideration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. and proficiency in PDCA methodology.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work at Lamphun.
