Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans and schedules to meet demand forecasts and customer orders.
• Allocate resources (manpower, machinery, materials) effectively to maximize production output and efficiency.
• Adjust production schedules as needed to respond to changing demands, material availability, or equipment issues.
• Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
• Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement in productivity, efficiency, and cost.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, 5S) to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Establish and enforce quality standards and ensure that all products meet the required specifications and regulatory compliance.
• Implement quality control programs and conduct regular inspections to identify and address quality issues.
• Manage and control the production budget, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety.
• Work closely with the Procurement and Logistics departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, and efficient management of finished goods inventory.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance department for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate production staff, including supervisors, team leaders, and operators.
• Ensure all production activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
