Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Responsible for analyzing and managing reinsurance operations, including premium and claim calculations, preparation of financial statements related to reinsurance transactions, and the selection of reinsurers with appropriate credit ratings. This role also involves evaluating reinsurance structures, adjusting retention limits, and managing risk concentration to ensure alignment with the company’s financial stability and underwriting strategy, thereby enhancing overall underwriting capacity and operational resilience.

Job Description

Manage reinsurance team and provide suggestion to solve complex issues.
Ensure if the reinsurance reports/transactions have been performed accurately.
Monitor and evaluate reinsurance performance and provide recommendation to improve reinsurance strategy and/or to negotiate with reinsurers.
Support in all reinsurance-related projects and provide analysis with recommendation.
Document, maintain and optimize reinsurance processes.
Liaise with reinsurers, underwriting team, actuarial team and IT team to analyze and optimize reinsurance process.

Requirements

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5-7 years of experience in the reinsurance field.
Understand reinsurance techniques and operational processes.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
