Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for various materials and services.
- Conduct market research, identify potential suppliers, and negotiate competitive contracts.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, fostering strong collaborations.
- Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials, adhering to agreed-upon quality standards and lead times.
- Oversee purchase orders, invoices, and payments, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Monitor market trends and cost fluctuations, recommending cost-saving initiatives.
- Stay informed of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal all department.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement within the procurement function.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an engineer procurement role.
- Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering field. Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineer is plus.
- Proven track record of negotiating successful contracts and achieving cost savings.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and procurement software (e.g., ERP).
