Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Management

Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
Overseeing project execution, monitoring progress, and adjusting ensure successful delivery within budget and on schedule
Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, consultants, and clients/stakeholders, to align project goals with business objectives
Collaborating with clients to develop data management strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring data is accessible, secure, and compliant
Overseeing the implementation of data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulations
Overseeing the development and deployment of AI solutions, ensuring ethical use and compliance with AI governance standards
Collaborating with data scientists and AI engineers to create custom AI solutions, such as predictive analytics or automation tools
Ensuring AI projects adhere to principles of transparency, fairness, and accountability, addressing ethical concerns like bias and privacy

Client/Stakeholder Engagement

Working closely with clients/stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements
Presenting project proposals, updates, and reports to clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations
Building and maintaining strong client/stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on IT strategy and solutions

Internal Project Management & Implementation

Implement internal AI projects to enhance firm operations, such as automating workflows, improving data analytics, or developing proprietary AI tools for consulting services. The process includes defining project goals, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and integrating AI solutions into existing systems while ensuring scalability and security.
Develop new AI and cybersecurity tools/solutions for the firm to strengthen service offerings and market position. This involves leading the design, development, and testing of proprietary tools, such as AI-driven threat detection systems, automated compliance monitoring solutions, or data privacy analytics platforms, ensuring they meet industry standards and address client needs

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

1. Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Information, Data Science, or a related technical field.

2. Experience

At least 8 years of direct experience in technology project management, preferably within software development, data engineering, AI/ML, or analytics implementation projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional technology projects, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

3. Technical Skills

Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as SQL, R, or Python, with hands-on experience developing or maintaining data pipelines, models, or automation scripts.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), and DevOps principles.
Familiarity with version control tools, CI/CD practices, and basic cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

4. Project Management Capabilities

Proven experience in managing or delivering technical projects end-to-end, with measurable outcomes.
Solid understanding of project management tools and techniques (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
Strong documentation, reporting, and client-facing communication skills.

Preferred / Advantageous Qualifications

1. Tech Consulting Experience

Experience in a technology consulting or solution delivery role, ideally involving client engagement, pre-sales support, or system integration work.

2. Data Analytics & AI/ML

Exposure to data analytics, dashboarding (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), or basic data modelling is a plus.
Familiarity with AI/ML techniques, tools (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow), or use cases in business or operations is an added advantage.

3. Certifications (Desirable but not required)

PMP or PRINCE2 for project management.
Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Fundamentals).
Data or ML-related certificates (e.g., Google Data Analytics, TensorFlow Developer).
