Responsibilities

Design and implement trade marketing strategies that align with the overall marketing and sales objectives.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Develop and manage in-store promotions, merchandising, and point-of-sale (POS) materials.
Collaborate with sales teams to create tailored promotional plans for different retail channels.
Oversee the execution of trade marketing campaigns and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
Provide the sales team with the tools and materials needed to effectively sell products to retailers and distributors.
Organize training sessions for sales teams on new product launches, promotions, and trade activities.
Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
Track and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and adjust strategies as needed.
Conduct regular market analysis to understand consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Use insights to refine trade marketing strategies and ensure they are responsive to market changes.
Work closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product launches and promotional activities.
Build and maintain relationships with key retailers and distribution partners to optimize product placement and promotions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales, preferably within the FMCG or retail sector.
Strong understanding of retail dynamics and consumer behavior.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
