System Manager

System Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the SIIT's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cloud solutions.
• Ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Network Administration

• Manage and maintain the Institute’s wired and wireless network systems to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions as needed.

Application Management

• Oversee the deployment, integration, and maintenance of software applications used across the Institute.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to understand their IT application needs and deliver solutions.
• Ensure application security, compliance, and alignment with Institute goals.
• Audiovisual Technology
• Manage and support AV equipment and systems for classrooms, lecture halls, and events.
• Oversee the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV systems, including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
• Ensure AV technology enhances the learning and event experience.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Institute to align IT services with institutional priorities.
• Provide technical support and training to faculty, staff, and students.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in IT system management, including infrastructure, network, application, and/or Audio Visual (AV) technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing IT teams and projects.
• Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of network technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems.
• Knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, projectors, and sound systems.
• Familiarity with IT security protocols, compliance standards, and disaster recovery planning.
