Oriental Events (Oriental Leisure Co., Ltd.) is a Thailand based Destination Management Company (DMC) / Event Organizer that provides quality MICE (meeting, incentive, convention and exhibition) services throughout Asia. Formed in January 2002 with offices in Phuket, Bangkok and Chiangmai and with associates throughout Asia, Oriental Events is a private limited Thai company, recognized and licensed by the Tourist Authority of Thailand. From initial planning stages through to completion of the event, we offer a full in-house service to assist with Conferences, Meetings, Corporate Events, Product Launches and Incentive Travel.

Basic Requirements

Full Time

Bachelor's Degree

18,000 - 30,000 baht/month

Responsibilities

Events Executive responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Managing annual events, activities, programs, meetings calendar

- Coordinate and help arrange Events/Activities /Meetings on a regular basis and ad hoc as needed whether in-person or virtual

- Managing website updates, Social Media posts

- Attending all meetings in preparation of events/activities

- Be the point of contact for all liaison for hotel members when it comes to daily communications arrangements on events/activies

- Understand requirements for each event

- Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints

- Book venues and schedule speakers

- Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost

- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms

- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)

- Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards

- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems

- Evaluate event’s success and submit reports

- Assisting and coordinating workshops and training programs for on-going training for our hotel members through partnerships or collaborations

- Attending the environment, education and marketing working group meetings and regular Association meetings.

Requirements

Requirements and skills

• Graduated with a bachelor's degree

• 1+ years of event experience.

• Proficiency in English (third languages is priority).

• Excellent customer service and sales skills.

• Strong verbal and written email communicator.

• Excellent phone and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs any design program is priority.

• Good negotiation and problem-solving with intermediate skills.

• Fast learner and passion for events.

• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

• Aptitude in delivering attractive proposal presentations.

• Ability and flexible on working hour.
