Finance & Accounting Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

• Plan and ensure that the operations of the accounting and finance department comply with all relevant laws and regulations related to taxation, finance, and accounting.
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Analyze key financial and accounting data to provide strategic recommendations that support profit maximization and risk mitigation.
• Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts, accounting policies, and related procedures.
• Strategically plan and manage internal controls in compliance with J-SOX requirements in an efficient and timely manner.
• Liaise with external auditors and relevant government agencies on matters related to taxation, finance, and accounting.
• Manage and lead subordinates at all levels to foster a productive and compliant work environment aligned with company policies.
• Provide training and coaching to team members to support their professional development and enhance overall team performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Male or Female
• Age 35 - 45  years old 
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in working with international accounting standards and local tax regulations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing monthly financial and accounting reports
• Familiarity with J-SOX or other internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in accounting software  SAP, Oracle, Dynamic AX etc.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Good command of English Advantage if has Japanese
• Good computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
