Molding Engineer

1) Define testing plans for new model lines, assign responsible personnel, and review test data for approval.

2) Evaluate testing costs and monitor test results, including losses, in order to establish preventive and corrective measures.

3) Prepare work instructions and establish standards as operational guidelines in compliance with quality, safety, and legal requirements.

4) Train and assign tasks to subordinates to ensure accurate and efficient job performance.

5) Control production processes to ensure product quality and compliance with the production plan, and resolve issues arising in the production process to maintain continuous operations.

6) Perform immediate troubleshooting in cases involving mold adjustments, improvements, or production equipment modifications to ensure suitability for production without affecting product quality.

7) Plan maintenance and inspection of molds used in the production line to ensure efficient operation, reduce errors, and maximize productivity.

8) Develop, improve, and optimize plastic injection molding processes to enhance mold efficiency, reduce production costs, and maintain product quality by reducing standard cycle time, sourcing alternative materials with comparable quality at lower cost, and utilizing recyclable materials to minimize costs and production waste.

9) Identify and apply new technologies to improve mold and equipment maintenance, as well as problem-solving techniques in the plastic injection molding process.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Plastic Engineering or Plastic Molding) Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Petrochemical Engineering
• At least 3 year of experience in the plastic injection or electronics industry
• Good command in English
• Able to work under pressure with positive attitude.
