We are currently recruiting for a Rotating Equipment Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role is required to provide hands on technical assistance in the repair and maintenance of various equipment in the workshop or at the customer sites. Job Responsibilities
• Overhaul and repair of Various type of pumps,gear boxes, compressors,turbines and associated other equipment.
• Comply with workshop procedures whilst ensuring all associated documentation is accurately completed e.g. stripping / build reports and work packs, following processes and actions.
• Competent in the use of all precision measuring and dynamic balancing equipment.
• Duty of care in all HSE and following Quality procedures.
• Implementing instructions as recommended from engineering / supervision.
• Work with Workshop Supervisor to ensure accurate and on time completion of equipment repair and completing strip down reports, assembly rebuild records, and test requirements to meet departmental daily/ weekly work schedule.
• Ensure all equipment in the fitting area is maintained to a high standard where appropriate liaising with supervisor.
• Assists in overhauls turbines, pumps, valves, diesel engines, compressors and other similar mechanical equipment. Includes dismantling, repairing, reassembling and testing such equipment.
• Assist in manufacturing parts for equipment under repair. Including marking, drilling and machining in the workshop as necessary.
• Responsible for the general housekeeping and cleaning of area of working.
• All other duties as assigned.
