JOB DESCRIPTION: PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Location: Nongbondaeng, Banbueng, Chonburi, Thailand

Role Overview

As a Procurement Executive based in Chonburi, you will drive sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of materials and services. You will partner with local and international suppliers, cross-functional teams, and logistics providers to support manufacturing operations, optimize inventory, and uphold compliance with Thai import/export regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities, from purchase requisitions through purchase orders and delivery follow-up.

• Execute negotiations for local raw materials, parts, packaging materials, and finished goods, ensuring cost efficiency and quality compliance.

• Optimize materials and inventories to maintain service levels without overstocking.

• Interface with suppliers’ sales, technical, and operations teams to resolve supply issues and align contracts, lead times, and payment terms.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Operations to enforce purchasing policies and procedures.

• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs (pricing accuracy, on-time delivery, quality metrics) and drive continuous improvement.

• Coordinate import/export documentation, customs clearance, and logistics with freight forwarders and local authorities.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular reports for management review.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

• 2-4 years of procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing or precision engineering services, with 2-3 years in regional sourcing exposure.

• Strong negotiation and contract-management skills.

• Familiarity with Thai customs and import/export regulations.

• Excellent communication in Thai and English, with an additional language skills in Chinese preferred.

Work Environment & Culture

You will be embedded in a fast-moving fabrication facility near Amata Chonburi industrial estate. The role requires on-site presence (5.5 days/week), periodic supplier visits, and occasional coordination with Head Office in Singapore and regional office in Malaysia.
