1. Set up the company’s and the IT department’s IT objectives and strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and strategies.
2. Develop the company’s IT system comprising IT physical and management infrastructure and the application systems to support the company’s IT strategy.
3. Initiate digital transformation to modernize and streamline the operations to enhance customer satisfaction and the company’s competitive advantages.
4. Ensure the company’s IT system is reliable, secure, and scalable to boost cost-effective IT operations with seamless functionality and high-standard performance.
5. Establish appropriate IT budget to accommodate and prioritize IT projects for IT strategy implementation and IT goal alignment.
6. Manage vendor relationship and provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for other departments and stakeholders.
7. Develop cyber-security and risk management policies to protect data and systems for data backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.
8. Institute IT governance framework to ensure compliance with the regulations, the company’s policies and sustainability (ESG).
9. Keep systems and processes updated with emerging technologies (such as AI) and legal requirements.
10. Develop IT department’s policies, procedures, and rules (SOP: Standard Operating Procedures) to oversee day-to-day IT operational processes and to attain the process objective themes of operating excellence, customer intimacy, innovation, risk management, and sustainability (ESG).
11. Perform all human-resource functions (5R) of recruiting, reskilling, reviewing, rewarding, and relation for teaming with the assistance from the corporate HR department.
