Responsibilities

Conduct regular quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished rubber products using specialized testing equipment and following standard testing procedures
Monitor and document quality metrics throughout the production process, including material specifications, process parameters, and final product characteristics
Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements while keeping detailed maintenance records
Develop and update quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation in accordance with ISO standards and company policies
Investigate quality-related issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of defects
Coordinate with production teams to ensure proper implementation of quality control measures and provide technical support for quality-related matters
Prepare and maintain quality reports, including statistical analysis of test results, non-conformance reports, and customer complaints
Train production personnel on quality standards, testing procedures, and proper documentation practices
Participate in quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field
Strong knowledge of rubber testing methods, quality control procedures, and relevant industry standards (ASTM, ISO)
Proficient in using quality control tools and statistical analysis software
Experience with quality management systems and ISO standards (ISO 9001)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent documentation and report writing abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
