1. Work closely with Supply Chain Management and relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth supply and contract management. Closely keep track general procurement operation. Communicate suppliers to know order status, delivery timing, logistic method, transit time, shipment schedule, transportation carriers to ensure on time supply from overseas.
2. Communicate cross-functional internal & external stakeholders to regularly review budget, demand estimation, ordering forecast, prepare procurement planning and solve problem issues.
3. Manage end to end from demand forecast, ordering plan, 6Rights-procurement operation to transaction reconciliation with accounting & finance.
6Rights-procurement: at the right price, from the right source, at the right specification/items that meets users’ needs, in the right quantity, provide at the right timing and be delivered to the right place/customers.
4. Review PESTEL analysis (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environment and Legal factors) and network with suppliers to monitor macro-environmental factors may impact the business and to manage necessary mitigation plan.
5. Understand required quality factors/product standards, negotiate to get competitive pricing and business trade terms, assess performance of supply sourcing both existing and new to select appropriated suppliers, according to the assigned procurement category strategies.
6. Closely work with custom brokers to prepare import procedure; Customs Harmonized System Code classification, applicable Import Duty Rate, Free Trade Agreement Duty Preferences, applicable hazardous material notification or import license may require and work with freight forwarders to prepare international shipment schedule.
7. Review, evaluate and assess suppliers' OTIF-On Time In Full supply performance, environmental and social responsibilities.
8. Coordinate chemical manufacturers to provide related Safe Data Sheets, recommended material handling method & transportation precaution to organize EHS-Environment Health and Safety compliance. Coordinate suppliers to conduct necessary users training, trouble-shooting, and system test run after machine installation or system implementation.
9. Manage non-conformance product claim filing against suppliers to conduct investigation quickly. Negotiate suppliers and work with relevant functions to finalize the claim settlement with no delay.
10. Participate in environment/quality management systems, continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct assigned tasks where required.
