1.Tender & RFQ
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the preparation and coordination of RFQ (Request for Quotation) submissions for airfreight and seafreight services.
• Thoroughly review and understand customer requirements, ensuring all bid responses meet their specific needs and expectations.
• Collaborate with pricing, sales, and operations teams to gather accurate cost data, transit schedules, and service details.
• Ensure all tender documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within specified deadlines.
• Analyze historical tender data, freight rates, and market benchmarks to support competitive bid strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date records of tender activities, pricing templates, and submission logs.
• Assist in standardizing tender processes and improving data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Monitor trends in global logistics to provide insights on market positioning for both air and ocean services.
2.Implementation
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of freight forwarding solutions, ensuring the smooth integration of both airfreight and seafreight services.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, customer service, and logistics) to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of freight services.
• Monitor and resolve operational issues related to the implementation of freight forwarding services, both air and sea.
• Develop and maintain detailed implementation schedules, ensuring all milestones are met within agreed timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for international freight forwarding, including customs documentation and freight handling procedures.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on new processes, systems, and client-specific requirements.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Generate reports and update relevant stakeholders on the status of ongoing implementation projects.
