The Electrical Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing electrical engineering operations, maintenance activities, and technical team performance within the manufacturing facility. This position ensures compliance with electrical safety standards, equipment reliability, and cost-effective maintenance operations while supporting the organization's production targets and safety objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of electrical maintenance technicians and engineers
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all electrical systems and equipment
• Monitor electrical system performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization
• Troubleshoot complex electrical system failures and develop solutions
• Review and approve electrical engineering designs, modifications, and installations
• Manage electrical equipment procurement, including specification reviews and vendor coordination
• Monitor electrical system efficiency and implement energy-saving initiatives
• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and technical documentation
• Implement electrical engineering solutions to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Coordinate with other departments to address technical issues and support operational needs
• Ensure team compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or maintenance operations
• Proficiency in electrical design software and maintenance management systems
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Project management and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, engineering software, ERP systems)
