We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Program Manager to responsible for designing and managing music-based learning programs that foster cognitive, emotional, and social development in youth aged 10–18 in Nan Province. The role includes curriculum development, team and resource management, collaboration with educators and community partners, and monitoring program outcomes. This position requires leadership, creativity, and a passion for using music to inspire and develop young people.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Define the Direction and Objectives of the Music Program
- Design and develop music curricula in the areas of Nan traditional Thai music, classical Thai music, Western music, and symphony to foster cognitive development among youth aged 10–18 in Nan Province, both online and in classrooms, in alignment with international standards.
- Plan a music-based learning framework aimed at nurturing cognitive abilities, emotional intelligence, social skills, communication, creativity, and essential life skills.
- Coordinate and collaborate with musicians, music educators, psychologists, and social developers to create learning activities that align with program goals and suit the learners' needs.
- Manage allocated budgets and resources efficiently and effectively.
Oversee Music Activities for Youth Cognitive Development
- Plan and implement music-related activities through online platforms and at learning centers, communities, and/or schools.
- Supervise, monitor, and manage the program team to ensure that both online and on-site learning activities are delivered as planned.
- Communicate and coordinate with local stakeholders such as schools, temples, child development centers, community organizations, and parents.
- Ensure all activities and learning sessions meet quality standards, achieve objectives, and prioritize the well-being and safety of participating youth.
Develop and Manage Music Teachers/Instructors and Musical Instruments
- Recruit, train, and evaluate music teachers and instructors.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing platforms for music teachers to enhance creative teaching approaches.
- Oversee logistics related to the learning and activity processes, such as travel arrangements, meals, and accommodations for teachers and instructors.
- Assign responsibilities and provide guidance to the team to ensure efficient performance.
- Establish and implement systematic plans for the maintenance and care of musical instruments.
Monitor and Evaluate the Program
- Design evaluation tools to assess students' behavioral outcomes, skill development, and quality of life improvements.
- Prepare progress and outcome reports to support ongoing program development.
Collaborate with Other Program Managers
- Engage in discussions and coordination with other program managers to share experiences and best practices, and to enhance learning standards in alignment with the foundation’s mission.
