- Lead and improve SMT process performance including printing, placement, reflow, and AOI.
- Analyze and resolve SMT process issues using root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools.
- Optimize process parameters to improve yield, quality, and productivity.
- Support NPI, trial runs, and mass production transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, PE, Production, and Maintenance).
- Define and maintain SMT process documentation, SOPs, and control plans.
- Monitor key process KPIs (Defect rate, Yield, Cycle time) and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in SMT process engineering.
- Strong knowledge of SMT equipment (Printer, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven, AOI).
- Experience in defect analysis (solder defect, component misalignment, tombstone, bridging, etc.).
- Familiar with Lean, Kaizen, and problem-solving tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
