Job Description & Requirement:
- Primary function is to handle oversea purchasing process, sourcing new suppliers / product, import process, claim process and documentation.
- In charge of issuing of Purchase orders and Monitoring and controlling all oversea purchasing procedures.
- Purchasing Officer responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports .
- You should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you're identifying the most profitable offers.
- A procurement officer oversees the activities of the department responsible for purchases.
-As part of their supervisory role, they assign duties to each member of the staff and review the work.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
