- Relationship Management: build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all funding-related matters.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial objectives and transaction banking.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the lending process.
- Monitor and manage an assigned portfolio of loans, proactively identifying opportunities for portfolio growth, risk mitigation, asset quality management and performance improvement.
- Provide responsive and personalized service to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering timely updates on loan applications and approvals.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for other banking products and services based on clients financial needs and objectives.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses on loan portfolio performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in commercial lending, relationship management, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of lending principles, credit analysis techniques, and risk management practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret financial statements, assess cash flow, and evaluate credit risk.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing lending activities, including familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
