We are now seeking for challenge-oriented, customers-focused and globally-working cultured individuals to succeed together.
Identify and maintain a comprehensive master list of critical equipment—including testing devices, measuring instruments, facility systems, and essential supplies—within the assigned laboratories to ensure performance is consistently maintained at optimal, near-original conditions.
Develop, implement, and manage standardized calibration and maintenance procedures to ensure all critical equipment meets required quality standards and supports the productivity and operational needs of the business line.
Monitor and analyze calibration and maintenance data to evaluate the effectiveness of current procedures and schedules, ensuring the ongoing capability and reliability of laboratory equipment.
Recommend and implement corrective actions or improvements to sustain equipment accuracy, reliability, and compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Supervise internal personnel and external vendors performing calibration and maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship, compliance with standards, and timely return of equipment to service.
Drive improvements in equipment availability by extending mean time between failures (MTBF) and minimizing mean time to repair (MTTR) for all critical laboratory assets.
Continuously assess and verify the performance of subordinates and suppliers to ensure calibration and maintenance activities meet or exceed established acceptance criteria.
Prepare and deliver regular reports on calibration and maintenance outcomes, including trend analysis, improvement initiatives, and performance metrics, to the direct reporting manager.
Requirements
Vocational Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
3–5 years of experience in repairing testing instruments and performing preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and temperature-related equipment.
Experience in maintaining and repairing laboratory equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and physical/electrical testing instruments.
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance for electrical systems, compressed air systems, and water systems.
Skilled in calibrating and evaluating results for instruments related to mechanical, dimensional, force, volume, temperature, and volumetric glassware.
Ability to read and understand equipment manuals written in English.
Possession of a Level 1 Electrical Technician License for Internal Building is an advantage.
