Mega Lifesciences is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to work closely with Manufacturing Director in a fast-paced environment that will offer ample opportunities to learn and expand your experience and expertise.
Job Summary
As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, your key tasks would be as below:
• Be accountable for activities related to strategic purchasing, material requirements planning and inventory control.
• Manage transportation, freight cost and routes to optimize the cost and implement innovative supply chain processes to improve efficiency and performance.
• Participate and coordinate with the relevant departments to manage changes and for new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions of materials and production flow.
• Evaluate performance metrics for measurement, comparison of supply chain factors, such as transportation cost, supplier, freight forwarder's performance, etc.
• Negotiate price and terms with suppliers, vendors and freight forwarders.
• Analyze/monitor suppliers' activities to assess performance in meeting quality and delivery requirements.
• Review the PO for raw material, packing material and general item for approval.
• Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production and quality assurance.
• Manage and control the department effectively.
• Evaluate and improve subordinate's performance and capability.
• Review & evaluate change control, NCR, deviations, product complaints raised by other department.
• Responsible for maintaining updated procedures and SOPs for the department as per current practices.
• Ensure GMP compliance.
• Other jobs as assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
Applications are invited from interested candidates who meet the following criteria:
• Incumbent must be a Thai national.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related fields.
• At least 10 years of working experience in Manufacturing related to Supply Chain
• Experience in Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical or FMCG field will be an advantage
• Experience with ERP applications for Supply Chain
• Familiar with working Multinational Company environment.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
• Good computer operating skills in MS. Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proficient in English language – speak, read, write
• Open & Interested to work in Bangpoo, Samutprakarn
Skill & Knowledge
The ideal candidate should have good leadership, people & project management skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Strong knowledge in related fields with good networking skills.
