- Deploy and manage enterprise class security, network and systems management applications within an AWS environment
- Design and implement highly-available, fault-tolerant, and scalable enterprise software deployments
- Perform data and application migrations from on premises environments into AWS
- Build infrastructure automation through scripting (Cloudformation, Java, Python, DevOps Tools, etc..)
- Drive architectural and planning discussions with senior leadership with respect to strategy, trade-offs, risks, and resource needs.
- Demonstrate the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Strong track record of implementing AWS services to deliver business value
- Hands on experience building solutions with AWS Core Services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Route 53, etc..)
- Experience securing cloud-based networks and systems (Firewalls, VPCs, Security Groups, ACLs, etc..)
- Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
- Experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications
- Hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale
- Active AWS certification(s)
- Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional
