**Job Summary:**
The Key Account Manager - Modern Trade is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key retail accounts, ensuring that our products are prominently displayed and effectively marketed. The KAM will work closely with buyers, category managers, and other stakeholders within modern trade channels to drive sales growth, manage product assortments, and execute promotional activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key retail accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and assigned accounts.
- Ensure alignment of account strategies with company goals.
2. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) within assigned accounts.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, including promotional activities, to maximize revenue.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and insights to management.
3. Category Management:
- Work with buyers and category managers to manage product assortments, pricing, and promotions.
- Ensure optimal product placement and visibility within stores.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
4. Negotiation and Contracts:
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and contracts with retail partners to secure favorable deals for the company.
- Manage trade spend and promotional budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
5. Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of products.
7. Customer Service:
