Responsibilities

As our Raw Material Specialist, you’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to driving innovation, ensuring supply continuity, and managing cost-effective raw material solutions.

· Together, we’ll shape the future of pet nutrition and contribute to the company's ongoing success.

· As our Raw Material Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

· Develop and Implement New Raw Materials (RM): Work with the team to develop and implement new RM solutions that meet product design requirements and manufacturing site capabilities.

· RM Qualification & Compliance: Lead the development of RM Micro Risk Assessments and ensure RM implementations comply with quality, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Technical Leadership in RM Projects: Provide technical guidance and leadership for RM qualification projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives for Supply Continuity and Security.

· Talent Development: Build and develop a high-performing RMD team, creating a supportive learning environment to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements

Degree in Food Science or related fields; a Master’s degree is a plus.

· At least 10 years in the food industry, preferably with a background in RD or RM development.

· Strong expertise in RM qualifications, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

· Good communication in English

· Understanding of raw material functionality, nutrition,, and product manufacturing process
