Job Description:
The Accounting Officer will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, reconciliation, and assisting with monthly and yearly financial reports. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in a fast-paced, international business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily accounting transactions (AP/AR, petty cash, bank statements)
- Prepare and issue tax invoices, receipts, and other related documents
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and accounting reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile bank accounts and vendor/customer balances
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities when required
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records
