
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance with local and corporate direction in his/her departments.
- Prepare long and short range plans and individual KPIs to attain departmental objectives and targets
- Supervise, motivate and organize staff to enable the department to run effectively and efficiently to meet all deadlines and departmental objectives
- Ensure staff are performing at the level required of them and, if not, address through feedback and review processes.
- Provide assistance, direction and training to staff to ensure they are competently performing their role within the team
- Promote communication, team work and harmony within the Department.
- Maintain a quality management system consistent with manufacturing and production standards to include internal auditing of all processes.
- Supervise the performance of physical inspections for monitoring products including reviewing incoming materials, work-in-progress, and final inspection before shipping manufactured goods.
- Collaborate with all department staff to provide data about current quality levels and expertise for maintaining and improving the quality of work and products.
- Implement, certify, sustain and continuously improve an effective Management System for the Plant in line with norms, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GMP, BRC, Safety and Precision Global Standard.
- Lead 6S activities (Safety and 5S) in the factory.
- Establish annual department budget and targets based on operation plans, and control expenses and CAPEX toward targets.
- Own KPI’s : Claim and concern ,Scrap rate ,Defect rate , COQ and etc then reporting weekly or monthly to PVT management team and global team.
- Drive quality improvements to eradicate the root cause of the problem and prevent the issue from reoccurring by using single event defect analysis.
- Build zero defect system by identify quality conditions to maintain and secure the require quality in the product and develop SPC.
- Cooperate validation process for approve quality test and participating new supplier audit/validate with another party.
- Follow the claims from the customer, root causes, propose corrective action, follow 8D preparation and Group customer quality claim system management.
- Collaborate with Technical team and LAB in the activities of approval of a new product/material (documentation analysis, checking of details, drafting of the specification report.)
- Identify and updates the standard samples used for factory inspection against internal and customer requests
- Train people involved in quality in the plant in updating their knowledge of products and processes.
- Any additional assignment from line manager.
- Master's Degree or Higher in Quality, Engineering, or any other related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in production and quality
- Experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Fluency in both Thai and English is mandatory.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and experience with ERP systems.
- Leadership skills - express in leading and inspiring members of the team to develop and achieve great results.
- Teamwork oriented - be comfortable in dealing with people with different backgrounds, culture and responsibility, valuing and leading teamwork approach.
