Role & Responsibility: A COO, or Chief Operations Officer, oversees a company’s business operations and reports to the CEO. A COO ensures the company has effective operational and financial procedures in place.
Chief Operations Officer’s Job Description:
1. The COO oversees company’s operational processes, and to ensure the company goals.
2. The COO will optimize company’s operating capabilities, employ strategies to success company business target and manage operating initiatives.
3. The COO will oversee operational initiatives and implementing better business practices.
4. The COO will assist in compiling the company's budget, and employ strategies to safeguard assets and operation cost.
5. The COO will compile financial reports, and control financial policies and procedures.
6. The COO will team up with management to implement business strategies.
7. The COO will work together with key participants to compile the budget.
8. The COO will spearhead strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.
9. The COO will assess and implement improved operational processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
