Do HDI related analysis on failing drives and relative components, find root cause and come up with solutions
Do HDI related research on yield/quality improvement, failure DPPM and test time reduction.

Act as bridges on HDI technical acquisition from design center and other sites to local site, provide in-depth local FA report to design center for problem solution and improvement on next generation product.
Co-work with other groups (production, process, core-team and other system engineering team) to work out and push the HDIG solution implementation and populating to other programs.

Analyze and optimize of servo/mechanical system of Hard Disk Drive (HDD)
Design and implement advanced control algorithm.
Enhance/Optimize Servo Calibrations and Tests to reduce test time.
Responsible for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production and release.
Interfaces as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to completion and distribution. Assumes responsibility for product after transfer from design to high volume production.

The Product Performance Analysis (PPE) Engineer is responsible analyzing hard drive magnetic media manufacturing process and parametric data.  
Process and parametric data is tracked through the manufacturing process and into integration into hard disk drive applications at Seagate sites throughout Asia..
To be Head Media engineer and provide technical support
In charge of performing Head /Media FA on all post process failures and determine root causes.
Work with various groups and help develop corrective actions.
Conceives and develops solutions to engineering programs through the application of professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices and procedures.

Plan and develop training program for the team.
