- The materials Department helps to secure the continued success to meet the corporate’s goal through planning, purchasing, internal teamwork and external partnerships. Also, we closely work with the Operation team, Engineering team, Logistic and related groups.
About the role - you will:
• Plan and implement actions related to purchasing/planning activities
• Coordinate with manufacturing and related departments to acquire raw materials in a cost-effective and timely manner
• Be responsible for Materials Planning until programs transfer to volume
• Manage materials to support the building plan
• Ensure that customers’ needs have been met and on time for delivery
• Control inventory to meet the corporate target
• Lead internal customer requirements by conducting meetings with the internal team to identify issues and how to meet customer demand as well as manage the suppliers’ capacity until responsibility is transferred to the Reginal team
• Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals
• Manage suppliers’ strategic relationships and closely monitor/enhance their performance via quarterly/ bi-quarterly business reviews
