Seagate Facility Engineering at Teparuk plant is responsible for Facility project management (proposal, planning, design, execution and control) for all plant layout space support such as production area, laboratories and all supporting area (store, office, canteen, parking and etc.) and support all material handling and off-line manufacturing equipment with new furniture support and set up.
About the Role – You will:
- Be responsible for Space management and control with maximizing space utilization
o Analyze/review/forecast space requirement for HGA manufacturing support based on master schedule release for support capacity requirement
o Provide and design for space expansion/renovation/allocation and update existing and proposed layout to support Production area, cleanroom area, supporting non cleanroom area such as laboratories, office, store, canteen, parking and etc. as user request and company requirement
o Rearrange/re-layout/re-grouping supporting and office area for space minimization and better working and people flow
o Support plant expansion proposal with space survey, feasibility study (cost, ROI, timeline, KT) and analyze risk assessment
o Manage and control rental area utilization with preparation document of contract renewal/cancellation for management approval and create NPPR for rental cost payment.
o Sign for factory plant layout confirmation to expand operation permit which required Industrial Engineering authorization
o Review and comply plant layout design for all EHS SOP and local laws/regulations
o To prepare the update layout and space for property tax. (Every year)
o Conduct space survey to review and monitor space utilization by semi-annually
- Be responsible for Material handling and off-line manufacturing equipment & new furniture support
o Analyze/review/forecast material handling equipment/system requirement for HGA manufacturing support based on master schedule release (Packing machine, bar code printer & scanner & computer station, tote box, cart, hand lift, etc.)
o Analyze/review/forecast furniture requirement based on headcount plan (Canteen seat, locker, smock & shoe cabinet, office furniture, etc.)
o Design equipment/system/furniture per production/supporting/office requirement
o Study and improve performance of material handling equipment/system to support raw materials & finished goods
o Monitor, control & improve material handling systems for productivity improvement
o Review operation procedure to comply with EHS, SOP39 & cleanroom protocol in material handling, off-line equipment, furniture related area
o Perform documentation to support CMSR audit, EHS audit, customer requirement
- Be responsible for Budget planning & control
o Plan budget for material handling/off-line equipment/furniture upgrade and improvement
o Manage/control cost spending and capital to meet the target as plan
o PR raise up, receive and set upper budget/outlook plan
