About our group:
The Materials Department helps secure the continued success to meet the corporate’s goal through planning, internal teamwork and external partnership. We work closely with the Operations (Drive and HGSA) & engineering team to ensure we’re alignment on job function.
About the role - you will:
- Plan and implement actions related to planning activities
- Coordinate with manufacturing and related departments to acquire raw materials in a cost-effective and timely manner
- Be responsible for planning functions both Production Planning and Materials Planning
- Lead internal customer requirements by conducting meetings with the internal team to identify issues and how to meet customer demand as well as maximize internal capacity
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet an aggressive goal
- Ensure that the supply of materials meets the Production requirements and product’s matrix
- Work on Demand/ Supply analysis once the planning assumptions or any planning parameter change.
- Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering
- Plan and deliver correct demand signal to Purchasing to drive raw materials
- Work with the Production team to enable the execution of Build Plans and Commit plans.
- Handle control inventory to meet the corporate target
About you:
- Able to communicate in English both oral and written communication skills Flexible in working hours to attend either early morning or evening conference calls with counterpart
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Capacity to work both hands-on and analytically to solve problems
- Dynamic structural analysis
- Teamwork and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal, planning and presentation skills
- Fast learning capability
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create V-Look-ups and pivot tables
- Fluent in English communication, both spoken and written
