Responsibilities

Develop and maintain onchain data indexers for extracting blockchain data efficiently.
Build secure HTTP APIs to support Web3 applications and integrations.
Implement CRUD operations for managing on-chain/off-chain data storage.
Develop onchain transaction execution logic, including gas optimization and error handling.
Ensure API security with authentication, rate-limiting, and protection against common threats.
Write unit tests and ensure backend reliability through automated testing.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) to store and retrieve blockchain-related data.
Optimize backend performance for real-time data fetching from blockchains.
Collaborate with the frontend and blockchain teams to ensure seamless integration.
Stay updated with the latest best practices in Web3 backend security and infrastructure
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
Strong experience with API security (JWT, OAuth, encryption, rate limiting).
Ability to write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
Knowledge of blockchain nodes, RPC endpoints, and data indexing solutions.
Bonus: Experience with The Graph, Subgraphs, or custom indexers.
Bonus: Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.).

Requirements

1. Experience (1-5 years) in backend development with Golang, Python, or Node.js.

2. Strong knowledge of onchain data indexing and blockchain interaction.

3. Experience with smart contract interaction via ethers.js, web3.js, or go-ethereum.

4. Proficiency in RESTful API and WebSocket development.
