We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Assistant Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts in the Malaysia market, focusing on the aftermarket and industrial sectors for lubricants and greases. This role will work in close partnership with our Malaysian distributor, ensuring alignment with our international strategies and reporting directly to our HQ in Bangkok, Thailand. The position emphasizes distributor enablement, channel development, and aftermarket penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute market-specific sales plans targeting automotive aftermarket (e.g., workshops, retailers, service centers) and industrial customers (e.g., factories, machinery operators) in Malaysia.
• Support and manage the performance of the appointed Malaysian distributor, including setting targets, evaluating performance, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Assist the distributor in expanding customer reach, improving coverage, and increasing product visibility across key channels.
• Conduct regular business reviews and market visits with the distributor to assess sales activities and provide guidance.
• Provide technical and product training to the distributor’s sales team and customers as needed.
• Coordinate marketing efforts such as local campaigns, promotions, and trade show participation in collaboration with HQ and the distributor.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain clear and regular communication with HQ in Bangkok, submitting timely sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
• Ensure product compliance with local standards and support the distributor in adhering to brand and quality expectations.
