• Oversee and manage the quality inspection of incoming raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
• Oversee and ensure adherence to international food safety standards such as GHPs, HACCP, FSSC, RSPO and Halal or Kosher standards if applicable.
• Supervise the testing of product quality across various aspects, such as physical properties or chemical/biological testing.
• Inspect and verify the calibration and functionality of instruments and equipment used for quality measurement and control.
• Identify, pinpoint, and analyze the root causes of quality issues, and coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., Production, Engineering) to find solutions and prevent recurrence.
• Develop, define, and refine quality control policies, procedures, and standards to align with internal company requirements and relevant regulations (e.g., ISO, GHPs, HACCP, FSSC, Halal, RSPO).
• Oversee and control that all personnel strictly adhere to the established procedures and policies.
• Prepare and maintain quality-related documents such as inspection records, test reports, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Plan and distribute quality inspection tasks to individual QC Staff based on suitability and priority.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Production, Purchasing, and Research & Development, to resolve quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
• Prepare for and cooperate during audits conducted by external agencies or customers to ensure the company complies with relevant standards and regulations.
