Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller with sound technical accounting knowledge, ideally with experience in auditing and experience in various industries. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the organisation, driving strategic financial decisions and ensuring sound financial controls are in place.

1. Group Financial & Audit Expertise: Lead the consolidation of financial statements and handle complex accounting issues at the group level. Liaise with the external auditors on annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyse financial data, identify trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance. Prepare and review accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development of the annual budget in consultation with department heads and ensure it is in line with company objectives. Monitor and analyse budget development and provide strategic insights to senior management. Create detailed financial forecasts to support decision making.
4. Internal Controls & Compliance: Implement effective internal controls to protect the company's assets and ensure financial accuracy. Ensure compliance with Thai regulations, tax laws, BOI and company policies. Conduct regular reviews and audits of financial processes to identify and mitigate risks.
5. Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow management to ensure the company has adequate liquidity for operations and strategic investments. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and ensure transactions are completed on time and accurately.
6. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills:

✅ Thai Nationality

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA License is required.

• 7 - 10 years in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or controlling role. Prior experience in audit and exposure to multiple industries, especially in Finance, Real Estate Development, Construction or Manufacturing, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Expertise in accounting software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
