Role and Responsibilities:
Active member of the production on a day-to-day basis whilst achieving set food quality and food safety targets.
- Understand, respect and follow the company policy.
- Maintaining levels of food quality and food safety.
- Ensure health and safety standard are maintained throughout the production process including the correct label and stock rotation of all products.
- Be hands-on in the production team, prepare, bake, cook and set up the showcases on a daily basis, ensuring consistency of presentation, production quantities and portion control as per standardized recipes.
- Clean and monitor food production areas ensuring the chain unit is ready to work.
- Use the production equipment as per the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure that only approved products are being labeled.
- Ensure that expiry products are used in the production cycle.
- Ensure that product traceability is maintained by identifying which batch is used in which production.
- Undertake cleaning duties including general cleaning of equipment and production areas
