Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in technical support, systems administration, or DevOps roles
• Proven experience managing production environments and escalated support cases
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration
• Proficient with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Monitoring & logging: (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Version control: Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues simultaneously
• Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams
Plus Skill (Nice to Have)
• Experience with ITIL or formal incident/problem management processes
• Certifications: AWS/GCP/Azure Associate/Professional, RHCE, or similar
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals: DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, HTTP, etc.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems
